Who Am I?

Put a celebrity/person/character on each student's back or forehead.

They mingle and ask:

Am I a man?
Am I famous?
Am I Spanish?
Am I a footballer?
Am I young?

The classmate can only answer Yes, you are / No, you aren’t.

Find Your Match

Prepare cards that form pairs:

A: I’m Harry Potter.
B: I’m Hermione.

Or:

A: I’m from Spain.
B: I’m Spanish.

Students can't show their cards. They have to circulate:

Are you Hermione?
No, I’m not.
Are you from Spain?
Yes, I am!

They sit down when they find their partner

Give them challenges without speaking Spanish:

Line up from youngest to oldest.
Line up alphabetically.
Make groups according to your favourite colour.

They need to ask each other:

How old are you?
When is your birthday?
What’s your favourite colour?

At the end you check:

Who is the youngest?
Who is next to Laura?

Pronouns and possessive adjectives

 

En anglès, l'adjectiu possessiu que s'utilitza per a una persona de gènere desconegut, no especificat o no binari és their. [1, 2]

Tot i que tradicionalment és la forma del plural, el seu ús en singular (conegut com a singular "their") està completament acceptat i és l'opció estàndard per evitar estructures feixugues com "his or her". [1, 2, 3]

Exemples d'ús:

• "Someone left their keys on the table." (Algú ha deixat les seves claus sobre la taula).
• "Every student must bring their own laptop." (Cada alumne ha de portar el seu propi ordinador).
• "If a customer calls, ask for their phone number." (Si truca un client, demana-li el seu número de telèfon). [1, 2]
• Somebody forgot their coat." (Algú s'ha deixat el seu abric.)
• "Does anyone want to share their opinion?" (Hi ha algú que vulgui compartir la seva opinió?)
• "Everyone must clean their own desk."
