All the students stand up. The teachers chooses one secretly to be described. Then she starts the description.

Draw My Monster ⭐⭐⭐
This is particularly good for beginners because mistakes become funny rather than embarrassing. Student A gets a monster picture and describes it:
“It’s got three eyes. It’s got short green hair. It’s got big ears…”

Draw the suspect ⭐⭐⭐
One student, the police officer, leaves the classroom. The rest of the class decides on the thief. Then the police officer comes in and draws the criminal that the students describe on the whiteboard.

E.g. The criminal is tall. He’s got short brown hair. He’s got a beard. He wears glasses.”

When explaining concepts with examples, you can use a variety of words and phrases to introduce and elaborate on those examples. Here are some examples:

Introducing Examples

For instance: "There are many types of renewable energy sources. For instance, solar power harnesses energy from the sun."
Such as: "Healthy foods, such as fruits and vegetables, provide essential vitamins and minerals."
For example: "There are various programming languages. For example, Python is popular for data science."
To illustrate: "Effective communication is key in leadership. To illustrate, a good leader listens actively to their team members."
